A bohemian bride to welcome Spring.
This year I waited for so long the season switch and in these days London is sunny. I can feel on my skin the season changing therefore I looked into my archive to find something in deep relation with this switch that happens every year but all the time makes me feel so good.
There’s no comparison with the deep sense of rebirth given by Spring, this year especially, after some cold unexpected days at the beginning of this month.
A Bohemian Bride
A bohemian bride was part of a vision that I had years ago while I was based in Italy, in Milan. I was looking to something contemporary but with a touch of that romance given by the poetry that I like, by the novels that keep on inspiring me now that photography is my life.
I loved to see in the past years some of the interpretation made by the Bohemian style and I went into it with these pictures.
An inspiration comes from my love for some Pre-Raphaelite painters and muses (like Sophy Gray and John Everett Millais) due to the fact that reflected a timeless sense of beauty.
I love that calm. I’m really passionate of when I’m thinking at my work as a destination wedding photographer and, in general, as a photographer.
Now that I’m based in London I see in these images some ideas of the anglo saxon feeling that I was looking for.
I’m so happy to find here, in United Kingdom, sometimes, that mood that can give me the opportunity to make the measure of time useless.
It’s a sort of feeling.
Making images of timeless moments
In this case I didn’t travel that much, I was not so far away from Milan but the point was to connect, in some ways, to the destination that I had in mind in that period, the same mission that guide my way to work with couples and also with other vendors: Making images of timeless moments.
In this specific case I had my model and a wedding dress, that was enough to tell a little story, to explore moments of my photography.
I loved it and I can’t wait to do it again to find another path to follow in which the destination will be always the pursue of an idea.
Wedding shoot photos (more to come)
The wedding shoot photos that you see here are only a part of the work that we made that day. I simply can’t wait to show you more of what has been done the next week.
Related to this work there was a connection between me and other professionals and this shooting is a result of a team work. I love to be in touch with other vendors and other great professional figures in order to achieve a shared result and discuss projects.
This is, by my point of view one of the best part of my job as a destination wedding photographer
I simply find this way of doing projects really pleasurable in real weddings as well as in wedding shoot photos like these.
The organization of the shooting was made in connection with Cartabianca design point, the wedding dress was provided by Atelier Matthan Gori.
My deepest thanks to Rocca Brivio and its management.
