The uniquness of time

Looking back at some wedding photography I did in the years made me think about the uniqueness of time that has passed.

Back in the day, I chose a little elephant constellation as the logo for Elene Photography. The reason for this lies in the concept of time and the importance of some memories. This is why the elephant was my choice.

Having the opportunity to experience and witness stories of humanity like weddings and events means knowing how to choose the moments with images. I love and respect this process, an endless choice and opportunity to create something remarkable for my clients. This self-imposed structure implies being constantly in touch with what I do. Sometimes, it is also a matter of looking back at what I have done.

Throughout the years, I have seen my vision take a more structured direction, but what has not really changed is part of my approach in looking for an effortless way of catching moments. In between reportage and some cinematic moments, my research is evolving aesthetically, but it remains true to the vision.

While I was reviewing some of my work over the years, I sensed this. All of these images served to give me a dose of inspiration for what I am creating now and for the new couples and clients who will require my vision.

I felt that the images served the purpose of bringing me back to my identity. While I was doing this, I felt the power of these images, well-chosen moments in time that will last to tell a story or simply remind us of where we were and who we are.
